From Scratch is a film and technology project documenting stories of flesh‑and‑blood people confronting their own limits. We want to show the preparation, repetition, doubt, failure and change, not just the final result.
No one truly starts from zero. Every story begins with a body, a biography and specific material conditions. We are not looking for heroes or lessons.
These are films about human effort. Technology can be part of the process, but the story remains human. At a time when more and more tasks can be delegated to a machine, we want to look closely at what is human: attention, curiosity, discipline, humour and the possibility of change.
